This film tells the story of visionary architect and sustainability pioneer Michael Reynolds. A “proponent of radically sustainable living,” Mike builds beautiful, unique homes and other structures (solar radio stations!) out of junk and other trash that people have thrown away, and has been outspoken in his criticism of the architecture profession and its refusal to deal with the environmental impact that building design creates.

This is a great film that shows a very maverick approach to construction. If you haven’t already checked it out, there’s an earthship institute website to peruse, full of good stuff: http://earthship.com/
These are very fun structures.
